AbstractIncreasingly, faculty members who teach online are encountering students who prefer to find loopholes rather than complete their coursework. In this article, Jennifer Summerville and John Fischetti explore four common personality types among loophole-seeking online students and provide suggestions for dealing with the various issues that arise in the classroom and online.
