AbstractDespite all the advances in eelctronic information and the widespread delivery of information to the desktop via the Internet and the Web, the book publishing business continues to thrive. The most recent trend in the book industry is the development of electronic books (ebooks), which has the potential to be the most far-reaching change since Gutenberg's invention. The advantages and disadvantages of ebooks are discussed in detail.
